Yeah, dream on, motherfuckers.

As the "Great Ammunition Shortage" continues, police departments across the country are struggling to supply their arsenals. One police chief turned to the community for help, and citizens stepped up.
In Proctor, Minnesota, police chief Walter Wobig says that his suppliers have told him he'll have to wait "months" for the 1,000 rounds he's requested.
When Wobig turned to the residents of Proctor by putting out a call for help meeting his department's ammo needs, citizens contacted his office, eager to help.
"The citizens were like, 'If you need something, we got plenty here,'" said Wobig.

  1. Had to comment on the stories on my blog (the anti-soma--the FFOT blog has other brain-meltingly awful crap set to pop up tomorrow morning).

  2. Dumbfucks....

Sorry, if you can't buy ammo just like I can't buy ammo, then I guess we both have to wait.

  3. Fuck that. Why would you give perfectly good ammo to the cops? Or even let them know you've got enough that you think you can spare some??? Now they know who to raid next...

  4. It would be extremely difficult to keep a straight face when I told that cop that it was unfortunate he couldn't find any bullets either and I would be sure to let him know if I heard of any coming available.

I know for a fact that it would be almost impossible for me to keep from rubbing my hands together and cackling like Snidely Whiplash as I walked away, too.

  5. Ijust bought (3) guns this week. While standing in line i watched them sell ammo (which was on the shelf limit one per day. I tell the owner look I just bought all this and your telling me I can get ammo. He said dont worry about that and went to the back and came out with the good shit. Most of your local dealers are horders.

  6. Are there any reports that the various elected sheriffs depts who have declared opposition to gun confiscation/theft by BigGov are being starved of ammo, while the various big city PDs run by appointed flunkies are still getting their supplies?
Looking at the big picture from this side of the pond, the only group guaranteed an ammo supply is the DHS and it's various goon squads like the TSA.

  7. This reminds me of what my Pepaw always used to tell me.. "Son, It ain't no fun when the rabbit's got the gun is it?" I'll donate some of my ammo when they quit writing bullshit tickets and fucking with legit people just trying to get by.

  8. Give/loan them ammo?? Oh hell no!!
You might just as well give them the gun too so they can shoot your ass with it later also!!! I just don't fucking think so.

  9. Give ammo to those that will in the future take it away from you? Don't think so. If I had a good friend on the force, I'd give him some. Piss on the rest.

  10. "Fuck that. Why would you give perfectly good ammo to the cops?" Because if and when Obummer makes his move, to take over by sheer force, using DHS goon squads, chances are that an awful lot of smaller police departments, maybe even state troopers, will be on our side against the goon squads. A civil war seems imminent, what with states blatantly telling Obama to go fuck himself over gun control laws and Obummer Care. There is no way imaginable that all of law enforcement are taking that piece of shit's side.

Then again, even though I am a retired fed, I'd probably have to tell the cops I was out - at least the cops here in NY.

Time to buy a Mono Vault just to keep some on secured out of the way of the government's sticky fingers.

    All the best,

  11. Actually, in an odd way it could prove to be fun.....say you have a BUNCH of old ammo you want to cycle out. Tell the cops you'll give it to em and show up with your lawyer and a BUNCH of forms they are REQUIRED to sign before you'll release the ammo. Non-aggression pacts/guarantees against ALL III groups, waiving of all rights if they murder a citizen..... Ammo ONLY to be use against FEDS...etc....get the pic??? Wishful thinking...I know but, damn, it'd be fun to see the looks on their faces when you show up with all that shit eh?! They might just get an inkling of how WE feel!!!

  12. That's bullshit! I just picked up via the internet, a bunch of 00buck, and a brick of china food for a pretty good price. Granted, there are a bunch carpet baggers out there.
So go shopping, and don't buy shit from those assholes.

  14. Being from way up here and having family that lives in Proctor, it's a tiny little town outside of Duluth. Which to most people is also a tiny little town, although in northern MN is a big city to the people that live there. Anyway, the cops in Proctor are your next door neighbors and they don't give you tickets, for the most part they step in ONLY when you call them for something, or they watch for cars that they don't recognize and pick on them. And yes, it's that small where you know what everybody drives...

That's the only reason that I can see that actually happening. Living "in the big city" like I do now, there's not a chance in hell I'd be handing over my hoarded ammo to Minnehopeless or St. Paul cops, wouldn't happen.
